Biodiesel is a renewable energy source, 100 percent biodegradable and a cleaner choice. Research has shown consistently and universally that biodiesel reduces CO2 emissions by more than 75 percent over fossil diesel. In addition, with biodiesel there is substantially reduced particulates, carbon monoxide and sulphur emissions. Further, biodiesel is safer to handle, safer to store and safer to transport due to its higher flash point. Biodiesels low aquatic toxicity makes it an excellent alternative for use in environmentally sensitive areas such as coastal areas and inland waterways, and preferable where ventilation is a concern. The production of biodiesel using an Ageratec processor is also very clean. It doesnt leave any waste products, not even waste water. The only product left besides biodiesel is glycerol which in itself can be used or sold.
